Life and Times
I broke a solemn vow the other day… I actually bought something from American Eagle. I’m not sure whether it was against my will or not, as it seems I have lost all free will, or at least abandoned it to my roommates / “friends” who seem to have seen one too many episodes of Extreme Makeover.
I’ve been receiving crap from some people for some time now regarding my simplistic wardrobe. Blue jean shorts and a t-shirt have always done me well. They cover me up, they’re cheap, and they’re comfortable. What more could a person want? Apparently a person could also want their roommate off their back to the point where they willingly spend $100 at the mall in stores they’d never go in on a normal day.
So now I have all these khaki shorts, which I have no problem with, but cost more than I would have cared to pay… A pair of jeans with a brownish tint that apparently is “stylish.” They don’t look stylish to me. They look like they were drug through a giant pile of manure. Whatever.
The clothes I can deal with. I needed them anyway. But they touched my hair.
I needed a haircut, but I was willing to go to Mastercuts for it. They’re cheap and they usually do a good job. Nope. Apparently it was in the cards that I needed 5 girls surrounding me while one went crazy with the scissors.
...not that I minded having five girls run their fingers through my hair…
...but then it was time for the gotee… I’ve had this thing since I was a junior in high school. It is very much a part of me. Now it’s a patch on my chin. Why?
I’ve received many compliments from the females, which is a very important factor to consider, but I’m not too sure the compliments are worth having to the look in the mirror and hate what happened to my face. I think I’m gonna shave it all off and just let the full gotee back.
I miss my gotee.
I’ll post pictures if anyone expresses interest.
...but they’re scary…
...very scary…
